The Compex pilot process is designed to move from a blocked sensitive-data workflow to a scoped evaluation with defined roles, policy, approval, outputs, and evidence records.
Pilot stages
Qualify the use case
Identify the business problem, data owner, processor, reviewer, and desired workflow type.
Define scope
Agree on datasets, users, workloads, outputs, retention, and limitations.
Configure sandbox or pilot environment
Use synthetic data for public demos or a scoped pilot sandbox for customer-specific evaluation.
Run and review
Execute the approved workflow and review evidence records against the pilot success criteria.
What this means
For business readers, a good pilot is narrow enough to approve and meaningful enough to support a decision.
Current status
Compex is pilot-ready for scoped evaluations with clear sponsor alignment and review roles.
Limitations
Pilots should not silently expand into production use. Additional data, users, workloads, or outputs require review.
