Audit and Evidence

Compex uses audit and evidence records to make governed execution reviewable. Evidence records help show the relationship between data scope, policy, approvals, workload execution, output handling, and user access.

Evidence record examples

01

Data scope

What dataset or protected data boundary was declared for the run.

02

Policy and approval

Which rules applied, who approved the workload or service, and when approval happened.

03

Execution event

What workload ran, under which identity or service, and within which boundary.

04

Output record

What output was produced, whether review was required, and who could access it.

What this means

For business readers, evidence records are the bridge between trust and action. They help reviewers move from “we think it was controlled” to “we can inspect what happened.”

Current status

Evidence records are part of the Compex pilot-ready workflow model. The exact schema and retention rules should be agreed during pilot design.

Limitations

Evidence records do not automatically make a workflow legally compliant. They support review and accountability, but the parties remain responsible for legal basis, contracts, and governance decisions.
