Compex is evaluation-stage and pilot-ready. These docs describe current sandbox and pilot environments, not independent certification.
TrustKnown Limitations

Known Limitations

Compex is evaluation-stage and pilot-ready, which means the product should be assessed honestly within scoped environments. This page lists limitations that should be clear before any pilot.

Do not overstate the product

Do not say Compex is certified, fully GDPR compliant, or guarantees legal protection.

Current limitations

  • Compex is not yet independently certified.
  • Production regulated deployment requires separate review and agreed scope.
  • Legal basis, DPIA decisions, and contracts remain the responsibility of the parties.
  • Output sensitivity still requires review.
  • Pilot environments may not include every planned production control.
  • TEE or hardware-backed execution is a roadmap item, not a blanket current claim.

What this means

For business readers, limitations are not a reason to stop evaluation. They are the basis for a credible pilot plan: narrow scope, visible controls, and evidence-driven review.

Current status

The Compex team should maintain a clear distinction between current capabilities, pilot-specific configuration, and roadmap items.

Limitations

This page is itself not a complete risk register. Each pilot should produce its own limitations and assumptions list.
