Analyze
Analyze is the Compex workflow for governed queries, scoring, and computation on protected data. It is designed for controlled outputs and evidence records when teams need answers from sensitive data without default raw-data handover.
Common Analyze patterns
- Aggregate cohort queries.
- Risk scoring or bounded computation.
- Dataset evaluation before purchase or integration.
- Partner analytics where raw records should not move.
- Internal analytics with approval and audit requirements.
How it works
Define the question
The requesting team defines the query, scoring job, or computation and the expected output type.
Apply policy
Data owners and reviewers define what operations are allowed, what thresholds apply, and what outputs require review.
Execute and record
Compex executes within the approved boundary and records the relevant policy, workload, and output events.
Release controlled outputs
Approved outputs are shared with the allowed users or systems, with evidence records available for review.
What this means
For business readers, Analyze is often the fastest first pilot because it can answer a bounded question before committing to a larger training or serving workflow.
Current status
Analyze is pilot-ready for bounded computations with synthetic sandbox examples and scoped pilot environments.
Limitations
Analyze should not be used for unbounded exploration of sensitive data. Queries, thresholds, outputs, and reviewers must be defined as part of the workflow.
